Lili of the Valley My Birthday Cake Card for Sis

This is the card I made for my little sister for her birthday. The main image is from Lili of the Valley, My Birthday Cake. I watercolored it using Distress Markers (scribbled them on a palette, then applied it with brush and water). The bear in the upper corner was cut with a Sizzix Sizzlits die from the Stuffed Animal Set (654484), now retired. I shaded it with Prismacolor Pencils and used an opaque white gel pen for highlights.

The white flowers were cut from white paper using Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 3PK - Flowering Quince,  colored with gold Silks. For the pollen, I used yellow Flower Soft. I usually make a bunch of these flowers at one time, storing them in a zip top bag for future use. The largest and smallest flowers are from Heidi Swapp, colored with Viva Decor Inka Gold (with water). I believe the other one is from Petaloo.

Below is another view of the card - you can see the layering better. The sentiment is from the Close to My Heart Artiste Collection, cut with the Cricut then stamped with the coordinating clear stamp using VersaFine Crimson Red ink.

I cut two colors for the bear, brown and light brown. I just colored the nose, eyes, and mouth black with a Copic Multiliner SP Brush Pen.

Here's a close up of the main image.
